Program Officer

Nana Adjeiwaa-Manu, a program officer, is responsible for supporting the Foundation’s college & career readiness initiatives. She manages the Featherstone Foundation’s Corporate Internship Fellowship Program that provides students with paid equitable employment opportunities.

Nana is the proud child of Ghanaian immigrants, and her cultural background has profoundly shaped her professional experience. She has worked for nearly a decade in the fields of immigrant affairs, public policy, public health and nonprofit organization management. She has also published work on closing the racial wealth gap, unemployment, and improving housing policy. She is interested in bridging academia with actionable policies that support underrepresented communities.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology and African/African-American studies from Dartmouth College. She also holds a Master’s degree in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. She’s pursuing a Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Pennsylvania along with a Master’s degree in statistics from The Wharton School of Business.
