Juliana Lopez, a native of Colombia, is the director of Foundation’s workforce development programs.  She’s a trilingual professional with over 10 years of experience leading community engagement projects in multiple markets from the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Juliana, a certified project manage, holds a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Education and is also an alumni of the Featherstone Foundation’s Reaching New Heights Program. She speaks fluent in Spanish, English and understands French.

Alexis M. Young, a Program Officer, manages the Foundation’s college and career readiness initiatives. She collaborates with students, administrators, and other education stakeholders to provide young people with meaningful educational, professional, and financial opportunities. Alexis is working toward obtaining a Ph.D in Minority & Urban Education from the University of Maryland.
