
Lanaea C. Featherstone is the founder of the William & Lanaea C. Featherstone Foundation. She is an award-winning leading nonprofit executive with more than a decade of international and management experience. She has been a featured panelist for U.S. News & World Report on topics related to the Latino community. She has a master’s degree in Spanish.
Founder

Juliana Lopez, a native of Colombia, is the Executive Director of The Foundation. She’s a trilingual professional with over 10 years of experience leading community engagement projects in multiple markets from the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Juliana, a certified project manage, holds a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Language Education and is also an alumni of the Featherstone Foundation’s Reaching New Heights Program. She speaks fluent in Spanish, English and understands French.
Executive Director

Alexis M. Young, a Program Officer, manages the Foundation’s college and career readiness initiatives. She collaborates with students, administrators, and other education stakeholders to provide young people with meaningful educational, professional, and financial opportunities. Alexis is working toward obtaining a Ph.D in Minority & Urban Education from the University of Maryland.

Natalie Abegesah is a consultant for the Foundation’s flagship workforce initiative, Reaching New Heights. She is responsible for program oversight including planning, developing, coordinating, managing and program implementation.

Nana Adjeiwaa-Manu, a program officer, is responsible for supporting the Foundation’s college & career readiness initiatives. She manages the Featherstone Foundation’s Corporate Internship Fellowship Program that provides students with paid equitable employment opportunities.
